Department: Retail Operations

Location: Bellevue

Employment Status: Part-Time

Salary Range: $16.92

JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for working on the sales floor and/or production area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Learn and perform all Cashier and Production Associate functions in the retail store
Provide back-up support in all areas for vacations/staff shortages
Provide excellent service to customers, donors, fellow associates and participants
May act as key holder if required
Participate in the new hire onboarding process as necessary
Make decisions on product quality and price items accordingly; researching value as necessary
Meet or exceed the attendance expectations for this position
Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of employees, customers, and participants
Other duties as assigned

Personally participate in ongoing cross training opportunities, education and development as well as supporting others in their efforts to develop.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

GED or High School Diploma preferred
Knowledge of Computer applications preferred
Previous cashier, customer service, production, retail experience required

Be flexible and adaptable to work and cover different areas on any given day; may be responsible for covering different areas in one day.
Must be able to work quickly with a sense of urgency and be able to multi-task.

Communicate effectively with managers, customers, participants and other associates.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Medium
Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Involves walking or standing most of the time with a degree of pushing and pulling.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Moderate
Occasionally exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise fumes, dust, etc.)
