The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Retail/Store IT Helpdesk Specialist
for a prominent client of ours. This is an 100% Hybrid Role in Framingham, MA 01701 (2 days Onsite & 3 days Remote/week). Details for the position are as follows:
 
Pay Rate – $21.04 - 24.83/hr on W2
6 months assignment with HIGH possibility of extension
 
Job Description:
Retail/Store IT Helpdesk Specialist represents Store Operations and Field in all IT System projects impacting our stores. Supports special projects related to operational and technical changes. Evaluates store systems applications and serves as an internal consultant to ensure the business needs are being met.
 
Responsibilities:
Liaison between IT team and Store/Field Operations.
Provides problem solving, procedural, and technical support to store associates, management, and field management for all systems, including Point of Sale (POS), Cash Office, Inventory Management and other Back Office systems.
Follow up on day-to-day operations to ensure overall technical support processes meet business needs.
Conduct store visits to complete onsite assessments of technology (once every one to two weeks).
 
Required / Preferred Skills:
  • Prefer someone with 1-5 years of IT Helpdesk experience.
  • Open to candidates recently out of college with an Associates or Bachelors degree in IT without any experience.
  • Any retail or store support experience including Point of Sale (POS) system experience will be a PLUS.
  • Any ticketing system experience will be a PLUS as well.
