About the Role:
George Washington Toma is looking for a driven and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our East Weymouth, MA location. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a dynamic retail environment, inspire a team, and deliver an exceptional customer experience every day.
Working Schedule:
- Monday-Saturday 45/hr work week
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and a positive shopping experience
- Recruit, train, schedule, and develop a high-performing retail team
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Manage inventory, merchandising, and product displays to maximize sales floor impact
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations with professionalism and care
- Ensure store compliance with company policies, safety standards, and loss prevention protocols
- Analyze key retail metrics and prepare regular performance reports for leadership
Requirements:
- 2+ years of retail management or assistant management experience
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a retail team
- Strong customer service skills with a customer-first mindset
- Experience with inventory management, scheduling, and retail POS systems
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree a plus
