Retail Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

The retail assistant assists the Retail Manager with daily shop operations.

• Replenish merchandise and maintain organized displays.
• Help with merchandising and maintaining visual presentation standards.
• Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service.
• Assist customers with product selection and general questions.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions as needed.
• Assist with receiving shipments and maintaining accurate inventory.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, friendly, and approachable attitude.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced seasonal environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise and boxes as needed.
• Comfortable learning point-of-sale and inventory systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Retail Manager during busy periods and throughout the season.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Help prepare the shop for daily operations.
• Assist with special events, seasonal transitions, and merchandise changes.
• Perform other retail-related duties as assigned by the Retail Manager.

MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and cooperate with other departments as necessary in the completion of the above essential duties.
• Provide information and answer questions about the resort to resort guests.
• Any other duties that may contribute to the cleanliness, orderliness and overall efficiency of the entire operation and all of the tasks contained therein.
