The Retirement Plan Services Senior Associate provides administrative and operational support to the Retirement Plan Services division. This role supports qualified retirement plan operations, client onboarding, data management, reporting, and advisor support functions.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. This position offers strong growth potential within retirement plan services and financial operations.
Support daily operations for a book of qualified retirement plan business using multiple CRM systems
Assist with onboarding new clients, gathering plan-level data, and supporting strategic division initiatives
Collaborate directly with financial advisors to support new and existing client relationships
Coordinate with advisors and custodians/recordkeepers regarding investment changes, reporting, and website access
Assist with acquisition and partner-related projects and administrative tasks
Enter and maintain Salesforce opportunities and ensure data accuracy
Support weekly and month-end reconciliation and reporting processes
Generate quarterly invoices in partnership with accounts receivable
Prepare service agreements and custodian change forms as needed
Support incoming client and advisor inquiries related to Retirement Plan Services
Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to support Salesforce infrastructure and backend processes
Prepare and manage retirement plan documentation for clients and advisors
Communicate with clients via phone and email to provide support and enhance the client experience
Take initiative in learning retirement plan services processes and industry knowledge
Support additional projects and administrative tasks as assigned
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the qualified retirement plan industry
Willingness to obtain the Retirement Plan Fundamentals (RPF) designation within the first 6 months
Experience with CRM systems and retirement plan recordkeeper platforms preferred
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Strong organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills
Self-starter with the ability to identify process improvements and efficiencies
Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a team-oriented environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to balance direction with independent judgment and problem-solving
Ability to travel occasionally for conferences or client meetings if needed
Knowledge of retirement plan industry trends, legislation, and regulatory updates preferred
