Retirement Plan Specialist – Fully Remote

We are seeking an experienced Retirement Plan Specialist to support participants with their 401(k) and retirement plan needs. This is a fully remote, long-term temporary opportunity with the potential for permanent hire with a well-established financial and insurance services organization.

Position Details

• Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Job Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Temporary
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM EST
• Location: Fully Remote
• IMPORTANT: This is a fully remote position. Candidates must reside in one of the following states: OH, KY, IN, MO, MI, SC, VA, TX, or FL.
• Bilingual Spanish/English: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from retirement plan participants regarding their 401(k) accounts.
• Assist with account login, investments, contributions, distributions, rollovers, loans, and withdrawals.
• Educate participants on retirement plan options and online account functionality.
• Document customer interactions and resolve participant questions professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of retirement plan products, processes, and applicable guidelines.
• Protect confidential participant information and follow company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous 401(k) or retirement plan experience
• Previous call center and customer service experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.
