This part-time, six-month paid consulting assignment provides a supportive environment in which participants can engage in meaningful work and participate in professional development and mentorship opportunities designed to assist with transitioning back into a corporate setting. Upon successful completion, participants may be considered for additional consulting opportunities or full-time roles based on business needs.
Position Overview
This position will support the Carlyle Global Wealth ("CGW") business across sales/fundraising operations.
The individual will support the day-to-day execution of CGW's sales, fundraising, and investor servicing activities. This will include managing investor pipelines, CRM data checks, coordinating client requests and due diligence processes, producing sales reports, supporting investor meetings, and partnering across teams to keep fundraising initiatives organized and moving forward.
The position will work cross-functionally with Client Relationship Managers, Product Specialists, the Internal Sales Desk, Fund Management, and other teams supporting Carlyle's Global Wealth business.
Key Responsibilities
CRM & Client Data Management
- Produce Salesforce reports to provide visibility into client activity, sales pipelines, and fundraising progress.
- Develop and document Salesforce processes and best practices to improve data quality and consistency.
- Identify opportunities to enhance Salesforce workflows, reporting, and overall CRM effectiveness.
Sales, Fundraising & Investor Operations
- Support ongoing fundraising and investor relations activities for Carlyle funds offered through CGW.
- Track client interactions, sales activity, opportunities, and investor engagement within Salesforce.
- Organize and clean existing client and prospect data, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, duplicates, and outdated information.
- Maintain sales and investor pipelines and ensure activity is appropriately captured and updated.
- Coordinate investor requests and due diligence processes, including DDQs, RFPs, RFIs, and related follow-up.
- Partner with Client Relationship Managers, Product Specialists, Fund Management, Compliance, and other internal teams to gather information and respond to client needs.
- Assist with the coordination of client meetings, roadshows, and related materials.
- Support CGW Sales and Investor Relations teams with ongoing projects and operational needs.
- Help ensure key fundraising activities, deadlines, and deliverables are tracked and completed.
Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Support
- Identify opportunities to improve CRM, sales, fundraising, and investor servicing processes.
- Develop and maintain process documentation to drive consistency and efficiency.
- Work with CGW stakeholders to identify opportunities to use Salesforce, reporting, and other tools more effectively.
- Collaborate across the broader Investor Relations organization to implement best practices and improve coordination.
Education & Certificates
- Bachelor's degree required.
Professional Experience
- 5+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, sales operations, investor relations, CRM/data management, or a similar business environment.
- Strong Salesforce experience, including managing client and prospect records, tracking activity, maintaining pipelines, and generating reports.
- Experience supporting sales, fundraising, investor relations, or client servicing activities.
- Experience organizing and maintaining large sets of client or CRM data.
- Proven success implementing process improvements and creating process documentation.
- Experience with sales reporting and pipeline management preferred.
- Knowledge of financial services or alternative investment products is a plus.
- Client, investor, or relationship management experience is a plus.

Expectations
- At least two years of a career break.
- Available to provide services part-time, ideally three days per week, with two days in person in our New York City office.
- This will be a six-month assignment.
Benefits

Compensation
The compensation range for this role is specific to New York, NY and takes into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to the skill sets required or preferred, prior experience and training, and licenses and/or certifications.
The anticipated compensation range is between $10,000 and $12,000 per month for a 3-4 day workweek.
