SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.
Responsibilities:
Receive and process returned medications from long-term care facilities.
Inspect returned drugs for compliance with state and federal regulations.
Document and categorize returns.
Prepare documentation for credits and coordinate with billing, as needed.
Safely dispose of or prepare medications for restocking following proper procedures.
Maintain accurate records of all returned items and actions taken.
Ensure proper handling of controlled substances in compliance with DEA regulations.
Collaborate with pharmacists and other technicians to support workflow and compliance.
Maintain a clean and organized returns area.
Assist with inventory management and audits as necessary.
Follow all company, state, and federal safety and compliance guidelines.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician required.
Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
Previous data entry experience preferred.
Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
Ability to physically perform light lifting.
