Revenue Accountant

LHH has partnered with our client, a privately held manufacturing company, that is seeking a Staff Accountant. This role will focus on revenue recognition and you will need a strong understanding of ASC 606, revenue, COGS, and Accounts Receivable. We are seeking someone with a curious mindset that is self-driven and a strong accounting and finance foundation. This role is onsite in Burlington County, NJ. You will be joining a company in business for 50+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Support revenue recognition and ensure transactions are recorded appropriately in accordance with ASC 606.
• Assist with accounts receivable activities, including collections follow-up and payment research
• Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and timely
• Review contracts, orders, and billing documentation for accuracy
• Prepare journal entries and maintain account reconciliations
• Assist with monthly and year-end close processes
• Analyze financial data and provide reporting support to management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• ASC 606, Revenue Recognition
• Experience with billing, accounts receivable, revenue accounting, or general ledger activities preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel and overall computer proficiency
• ERP experience is a plus
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Compensation:

$60,000-$80,000

Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision

PTO is offered on an accrual basis
