Revenue Accountant

NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a growing energy company to identify a Revenue Accountant for its Fort Worth office. This position will support key revenue accounting functions while partnering with teams across the organization. It is a great opportunity for an experienced oil & gas accountant looking for a collaborative environment, broad exposure, and the ability to take ownership of their work.

Responsibilities

• Perform revenue accounting activities, including calculations, reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis
• Review financial and operational data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Support monthly and year-end close processes, reporting, audits, and special projects
• Maintain accurate accounting records and assist with regulatory and operational reporting requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience within the oil & gas industry
• Revenue accounting experience strongly preferred
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage priorities independently
