Reporting to the Revenue Accounting Manager, you'll help own revenue recognition workflows, support monthly and quarterly close activities, and partner cross‑functionally to ensure revenue is recorded accurately and in compliance with ASC 606.This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strong accounting fundamentals with a continuous improvement mindset. While we are open to candidates located anywhere in Canada for this position, we will prioritizing those based in Toronto or a EST timezone.What You'll Be Doing:Supporting end‑to‑end revenue recognition processes in compliance with ASC 606 across multiple contract types and billing arrangementsOwning monthly and quarterly close deliverables, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis for revenue‑related accountsReviewing contracts, pricing, discounts, and system setup to ensure revenue‑related data is accurate and aligned with approved proposals and executed agreementsPartnering with Deal Desk, Internal Audit, FP&A, Controllership, and Financial Reporting to support audit requests, contracting processes, and revenue accounting questionsIdentifying opportunities to strengthen controls, streamline workflows, and support automation initiatives that reduce manual work and improve accuracyHelping build scalable revenue accounting processes that can support StackAdapt's continued growthWhat You'll Bring to the Table:Hands‑on experience in revenue accounting, technical accounting, financial reporting, or audit, ideally within a high‑growth technology or SaaS environmentStrong understanding of month‑end and quarter‑end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysisWorking knowledge of ASC 606 and how it applies to customer contracts and revenue recognitionDemonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement scalable solutionsA continuous improvement mindset with an interest in automation, systems, and operational efficiencyStrong attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional partnersThe compensation range listed for this role reflects the expected base salary for candidates located in Ontario, Canada. It is informed by market data and the approved budget for this position. StackAdapt maintains different compensation ranges for roles across other countries and regions, and final offers will be aligned to the candidate's current location.This range represents base salary only.
