Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • Experience with the US Federal and State and Local business verticals.
  • Experience planning and managing at strategic and operational level.
  • Understanding of Cloud technologies.
  • Ability to be successful in a complex, globally-scaled product, sales and engineering environment.
  • Ability to present to executives and communicate with highly technical management teams.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Google Public Sector Revenue and Delivery Operations (RDO) Manager team is a trusted advisor to the Services, Technology, and Sales Organizations.

As RDO Manager, you will assist in defining, landing, and executing on our key strategic revenue acceleration and delivery priorities for the region. You will be responsible for building out increased operational excellence and cross-functional connections to ensure Google Public Sector can accelerate its revenue growth in a strategic and sustainable way, and prioritizing its delivery to customers in an optimal fashion.

In this role, you will partner with Services, Sales and Customer Engineering, Finance, Partners, and the Operations to together plan, strategize, and run the business in a transformational way.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $234000 - $326000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefitsLearn more about benefits at Google.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of operations advisors that drive the development of business plans, operating models, resource allocation, and customer segmentation
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive alignment on resource, growth and performance priorities 
  • Execute strategic initiatives by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses and developing final recommendations that yield increased productivity and bookings/ revenue growth
  • Lead strategic initiatives that drive transformative operational improvements in GPS ability to deliver revenue acceleration at scale
  • Act as the strategy partner for GTM and TSD leadership
