    Description

    Human Services Management Corporation (HSMC) provides shared business and consulting services to both non-profit and proprietary human services agencies. These services include accounting, payroll, third party billing and collections, human resources, online and live Continuing Education, marketing, facility development and quality assurance programs.

    We''re looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our team. In this role, you''ll help ensure accurate billing, timely payment processing, and exceptional support for our client organizations. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with data, and collaborating with others in a fast-paced environment, we''d love to hear from you.

    What You''ll Do

    • Post payments, adjustments, and denials accurately to patient accounts.
    • Reconcile daily and monthly cash receipts and resolve discrepancies.
    • Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements.
    • Obtain and track prior authorizations to support timely billing.
    • Prepare, review, and submit insurance claims accurately.
    • Monitor outstanding claims and follow up on unpaid accounts.
    • Partner with Billing, Collections, Intake, and client teams to resolve reimbursement issues.
    • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
    • At least 2 years of experience in billing, cash posting, or insurance verification
    • Experience with accounts receivable and electronic reimbursement systems.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, EHRs, and practice management software.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail
    • Please note that this is a hybrid position requiring (3) days per week in the office (Milford).
