A Revenue Cycle Team Member plays a vital role in managing the financial operations of healthcare services. The team member ensures the seamless flow of the revenue cycle process, including patient billing, claims processing, accounts receivable management, and compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities<\/b>

  • Claims Management<\/b>

    • Submit accurate and timely insurance claims for medical services rendered.

    • Monitor claim statuses, identify and resolve denials or discrepancies.
      <\/li>
    • Conduct follow -ups with payers to ensure claims are processed and paid promptly.
      <\/li><\/ul><\/li>
    • Patient Billing<\/b>
      <\/p>

      • Generate and review patient statements for accuracy.
        <\/li>
      • Address patient inquiries regarding billing and insurance coverage professionally.
        <\/li>
      • Assist patients with setting up payment plans when necessary.
        <\/li><\/ul><\/li>
      • Accounts Receivable<\/b>
        <\/p>

        • Reconcile payments received from patients and insurance companies.
          <\/li>
        • Post payments accurately to the appropriate accounts.
          <\/li>
        • Identify unpaid accounts and initiate collection efforts while adhering to company policies.

        • Compliance and Reporting<\/b>
          <\/p>

          • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.

          • Assist in preparing financial and operational reports for management.
            <\/li>
          • Stay updated on changes in billing codes, payer policies, and industry regulations.

          • Customer and Client Interaction<\/b>

            • Serve as a point of contact for clients and patients regarding revenue cycle matters.

              Qualifications<\/b>
              <\/h3>
              • Education<\/b>: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.

              • Experience<\/b>:

                • Minimum of 1 -2 years of experience in medical billing, coding, or revenue cycle management.

                • Familiarity with healthcare payer systems, EHR/EMR platforms, and revenue cycle management software.

                • Certifications<\/b>: Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) preferred but not required.
