Pay Range: $70 - $100/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision).

Key Responsibilities:

  • This role focuses on month-end close, SOX compliance, audit support, and driving a fast-paced 3-day close process.
  • You will oversee transactional accounting while adapting to evolving control cadences and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Notes from Manager/Must Haves: Seeking candidates with strong expertise in ASC 606 and ASC 842, including a clear understanding of the five-step revenue recognition model.
  • The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of Standalone Selling Price (SSP), transaction price allocation, and managing multiple performance obligations.
  • Ability to articulate accounting processes and their audit implications with practical examples is essential.
  • Candidates should demonstrate depth beyond generic knowledge in revenue accounting standards.
  • 4-7 years of accounting experience with hands-on transactional work and team leadership
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, macros, formulas)
  • Experience with ASC 606 and ASC 842
  • SAP or similar ERP; BlackLine is a plus
  • Industry experience in healthcare, MedTech, software, or manufacturing preferred
  • Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred
