Reverse Logistics Lead
About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Reverse Logistics Lead to help oversee our returns operation and support the day-to-day success of our warehouse team. In this role, you'll help ensure returned products are processed accurately, inventory remains organized, and quality standards are consistently met.
You'll work closely with warehouse associates, provide training and coaching, help solve operational challenges, and step into a leadership role when the supervisor is away. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading by example, improving processes, and making a positive impact on both the team and the business.
What You'll Do
Lead and Support the Team
  • Help coordinate daily returns processing activities to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and support to warehouse associates.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
  • Help create a positive, collaborative work environment where employees can learn and grow.
  • Step in to lead the team and make operational decisions when the supervisor is unavailable.
  • Support productivity goals by helping prioritize workloads and remove obstacles that affect team performance.
Manage Returns and Quality Inspections
  • Inspect returned products and components using established quality standards.
  • Determine whether products should be approved, rejected, reworked, repackaged, or otherwise dispositioned.
  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain required records.
  • Verify product identification, measurements, and condition of incoming returns.
  • Investigate discrepancies and work with leadership to identify solutions and corrective actions.
Improve Processes and Drive Accuracy
  • Help develop and update inspection procedures, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the returns operation.
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper inventory management practices.
  • Assist with transfer order receipts and inventory reconciliation activities.
Keep the Warehouse Safe and Organized
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Ensure equipment inspections are completed and documented.
  • Promote safe work practices and encourage compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor packaging supply levels and help maintain box inventory.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, reverse logistics, or inventory environment.
  • Understanding of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and returns processes.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to lead by example.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Automotive aftermarket returns experience.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts, especially CV axles or similar components.
  • Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
  • Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Experience helping develop processes, procedures, or performance metrics.
Why You'll Enjoy This Role
  • Opportunity to take on a leadership role and help develop a growing team.
  • Hands-on involvement in improving warehouse and returns operations.
  • Collaborative work environment where your ideas and contributions matter.
  • Ability to make a direct impact on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Opportunities for learning, growth, and professional development.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the warehouse.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety-toed footwear.
