Job Title: Rework and Assembly Technician
Reports to: Manufacturing Manager
Job Location: Santa Clara, CA
Job Summary:
Seeking a highly capable Rework and Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing operations division. The individual must possess knowledge and skills of PCB rework and assembly, and whose attention to detail will result in a high-quality product.
Job Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Perform assigned product manufacturing and assembly tasks.
Perform quality checks on produced parts and components.
Expert in performing electronic rework under a microscope for 0201 size components.
Perform repairs and rework as needed and report issues in a timely manner.
Perform testing of sub-assemblies and final product.
Maintain accurate documentation of all process steps performed.
Maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
Comply with internal policies, operating procedures, and industry regulations.
Will be called upon to support other business operations including shipping and receiving, and stockroom.
Education/Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
At least two years of experience as a PCB rework technician or similar role.
SMD soldering experience is required for this position.
Ability to hand solder components under a microscope.
Knowledge of production process and standards in a related industry preferred.
Extensive experience in performing quality control procedures.
Working knowledge of computers and office suite (outlook, word, and excel)
Able to read schematics and follow written procedures.
Has mechanical aptitude
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Possesses good communication skills.
