Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking dependable and mechanically inclined Rework Technicians to join a growing manufacturing team in Tulsa. This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and reconditioning rental equipment as it returns to the facility, ensuring each unit is restored to company quality standards before being placed back into service.
The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on mechanical work, is comfortable using a variety of tools, and takes pride in producing quality workmanship in a fast-paced production environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude required
Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use a level
Basic understanding of mechanical assembly and electrical wiring preferred
Ability to follow written work instructions and quality standards
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, repairs, and complete rework of returned rental equipment and units
Tighten bolts, install tubing, and terminate basic electrical wiring as required
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
Read and accurately use tape measures, levels, and other measuring devices
Inspect equipment to identify repair, maintenance, and reconditioning needs
Complete repairs according to company work instructions and quality standards
Verify completed units meet operational and appearance requirements before release
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift
Report equipment issues, material shortages, or quality concerns to supervisors
Perform additional production and reconditioning duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in mechanical assembly, equipment repair, or industrial maintenance
Basic electrical troubleshooting or wiring experience
Experience working in manufacturing or equipment refurbishment environments
Familiarity with quality inspection and testing procedures
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Ability to step onto equipment and work in various positions during repairs
Comfortable performing physically demanding work while wearing required PPE
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing and equipment reconditioning facility
Fast-paced production environment focused on quality, safety, and efficiency
Exposure to hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment, and industrial machinery
