Rework Technician - 2nd Shift

Location: Brea, CA

Pay Rate: $20-$23/hour (DOE)

Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Rework Technician to support PCB rework and repair operations in a fast‑paced electronics manufacturing environment. This role requires precision hand‑soldering skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision hand‑soldering on SMT and thru‑hole components using a microscope
• Support PCBA rework, component replacement, and advanced troubleshooting
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and PCBA documentation (English)
• Conduct detailed visual inspections to identify defects such as solder bridges, cold joints, misalignment, and other workmanship issues
• Maintain accurate production logs, repair records, and documentation
• Follow all established work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Experience with SMT and thru‑hole soldering (microscope experience required)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Prior electronics manufacturing or rework experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Pre-employment background check
