The Panther Group is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to support a leading aerospace and defense manufacturer in Chelmsford, MA. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge RF and microwave technologies in a collaborative production environment, supporting advanced electronic systems throughout the product lifecycle.

Schedule
Full-Time | 4/10 Schedule

Available shifts include:
  • 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
  • Weekend Shift: Thursday – Sunday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Responsibilities
  • Support the production of complex RF and microwave modules used in high-reliability aerospace and defense applications.
  • Troubleshoot hardware designs and resolve production and integration issues.
  • Perform hands-on testing, debugging, and validation of RF hardware.
  • Utilize RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.
  • Conduct failure investigations and identify root causes of technical issues.
  • Collaborate with RF, hardware, systems, manufacturing, and circuit design engineers to support production.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Provide innovative technical solutions throughout all phases of the product lifecycle.
  • Communicate technical findings effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Support manufacturing operations by resolving production-related technical issues.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Secret Security Clearance (required at the start of employment).
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, or a Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience working with electronic hardware.
  • Experience using RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and failure analysis skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering and manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
  • Prior experience within the aerospace, defense, or defense electronics industry.
  • RF design experience.
  • Experience with:
    • Antennas
    • Transmitters and receivers
    • Microwave components
    • Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs)
    • High Power Amplifiers (HPAs)
    • Mixers
    • Switches
    • Frequency generation and conversion circuits
    • Advanced electronic modules
  • Microelectronics assembly experience.
  • Experience reviewing specifications, schematics, engineering drawings, and test data.
  • Experience presenting technical information to customers and engineering teams.
  • Ability to independently lead technical investigations and failure analyses.
Additional Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required site access and security requirements.
  • Successful completion of background screening and drug testing.
Pay up to $97.12 per hour DOE
