We're hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.What you will be doingAs an RF Engineer at Neros you will play a crucial, hands-on role in developing next-generation wireless products. In this position, youll support senior engineers through the entire hardware lifecycle, from initial design to final testing. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer to grow their skills in a collaborative environment while working on cutting-edge technology.Responsibilities Assist with the design and simulation of RF circuits, including matching networks, filters, and amplifiersBuild, tune, and characterize RF prototypes to validate design performanceConduct critical RF measurements and testing using lab equipment like Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), spectrum analyzers, and signal generatorsPerform root cause analysis on production failures to identify and resolve potential design issuesAssemble test setups and execute verification and validation test plansCollaborate with firmware and other engineering teams to support system integration and testingYou should have the followingBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related technical field. 0-2 Years experienceSolid understanding of fundamental RF and electromagnetic conceptsHands-on experience with standard RF laboratory equipment is requiredProficient soldering skills, with experience handling small surface-mount RF componentsAbility to select components to meet RF system specificationsNice to havePrevious Experience: An internship, co-op, or significant university project in an RF or wireless hardware roleScripting Skills:Experience automating tests or analyzing data usingPythonorMATLABLayout Familiarity: Basic understanding of PCB layout principles for RF circuits using tools like Altium DesignerProtocol Knowledge: Familiarity with specific wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LoRa, or cellular standardsHobbyist Interest: Personal projects or an active interest in areas like amateur radio (ham radio), software-defined radio (SDR), or electronics projectsUS Salary Range$80,000 - $150,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
