Mercury Systems Signal Technologies group has a great opportunity for an electrical RF Engineer with strong experience including design prototyping and testing at the module and component level for our Oxnard CA location. Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the detailed design of RF circuits
- Develop functional specifications for sub-assemblies and integrated microwave assemblies
- Responsible for the release of engineering design documentation
- Provide guidance for the development of automated product testing
- Collaborate and effectively communicate with cross-functional development teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in High Reliability Aerospace or Defense Electronics product development and manufacturing
- Experience using RF simulation software: Microwave Office or AWR ADS HFSS
- Broad experience troubleshooting RF/Microwave analog, digital, and mixed signal circuits at the module and component level
- Broad experience with RF/Microwave test equipment
- Experience transferring new designs to production
- Active Security Clearance required on day one
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience using data analysis tools such as MATLAB
- Familiarity with failure analysis
- Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
