    Description

    Description:Architects and designs Radio Frequency systems and circuitry. Designs and develops RF circuitry used in high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers. Responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test. Prepares test methods and specifications; analyzes and tests RF hardware to verify performance characteristics. Provides inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and supports manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase. In addition, develops RF System/Subsystem Architectures consisting of: antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements and transmission line equipment. Performs link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources. Develops and allocates RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements. Identifies and tracks RF technical performance measurements (TPMs). Performs RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis. Supports Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Aeronautical Systems Engineering, or an engineering related field and 12+ years of professional experience
    • Familiar with the application of systems engineering and software development processes to the design, development, integration, test, and verification of complex systems
    • RF or EW lab testing
    • Experience with suppliers in designing requirements for products, and testing those products
    • Active Secret Clearance required

    Desired Skills:

    • Electronic Warfare system design, development, and testing
    • Experience with Infrared detection systems
    • Experience with requirements development, system integration, and utilizing RF stimulators.
    • Experience with Laboratory System Integration and Test, SIMSIL and STIMSIS experience
    • Mission Data File design, preparation, and testing
    • Experience with: requirements derivation, Verification and Validation Matrix design, and requirements testing
    • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving: System Defects, Deficiency Reports (DRs), and Software Problem Anomaly Reports (SPARs), particularly as they relate to Electronic Warfare (EW) systems
    • Program Manager experience, test lead experience, System Engineer lead, and Procurement Lead experience
    • Experience procuring or operating a CEESIM or other EW stimulator

    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
