Senior RF Engineer (UAV Systems)
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)
Type: Contract-to-Hire

Synigent is seeking a Senior RF Engineer for our client to help develop next-generation UAV communication systems, including telemetry, video transmission, antennas, and wireless networking technologies.
Responsibilities

Design and optimize RF communication systems for UAV platforms
Perform RF modeling, simulation, testing, and validation
Support antenna integration, telemetry, and wireless communications performance
Troubleshoot RF, EMI/EMC, and signal integrity issues
Collaborate with electrical, embedded, mechanical, and systems engineering teams

Requirements

4+ years of RF, wireless communications, or telecommunications engineering experience
Experience with RF design, testing, and validation
Proficiency with tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, AWR, MATLAB, or similar
Knowledge of antennas, microwave systems, EMC/EMI, and wireless communications
UAV, aerospace, defense, satellite communications, or wireless networking experience preferred
