RF Systems Engineer

Location: Aurora, CO

Required Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly

An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.

Job Description:

ITEC is seeking a RF / Systems Engineer to provide engineering analysis, baseline management, operations and maintenance, system enhancement, and integration support. This position will be with the engineering team and responsible for ensuring successful operation, maintenance, and sustainment of the hardware associated with a complex high priority operational communications system.

Job Responsibilities:

• Systems Engineer/Hardware Engineer will be expected to have the technical skills to troubleshoot, document, and resolve system outages and other issues that may be encountered during operation of the system.
• Support the generation of concept of operations and provide recommendations for system architecture.

Required Skills:

• Prefer a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with RF (radio frequency) and IF (intermediate frequency) signal processing.
• Prior experience supporting Operations and Maintenance (O&M) ground systems engineering activities for a satellite communications system.
• Experience generating, analyzing, tracking, and managing requirements.
• Experience with systems engineering developing and maintaining schematics, analysis, block diagrams, system Bill of Materials (BOMs), and design review packages (preferred).

Key Skills:

• Experience with RF (radio frequency) and IF (intermediate frequency) signal processing.
• Experience with HTML 5.
• Experience with Telemetry Progressing equipment (ie modems).
