Overview:
The RFID Lab at Auburn University is looking for motivated, hard-working, and detail-oriented students from various disciplines to perform RFID in-store testing and audits. This position will primarily involve fieldwork at local partner locations. Fieldwork includes activities such as: RFID tag audits, barcode audits, RFID cycle counts.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data collection tests to investigate the performance of large-scale RFID deployments.
- The team's responsibilities include RFID tagging items in a retail environment and then doing tests with an RFID reader to determine the quality and readability of the tags.
- Performing in-store barcode/inventory audits.
- Participation in in-lab demonstrations and testing when necessary
- Students may occasionally travel to partner locations outside of the Auburn/Opelika area
Qualifications:
- Enrolled student at Auburn University
- Must have reliable transportation to and from partner locations outside of regular business hours
- Must have the ability to work weekends and weekday evenings
Pay Range:
USD $15.00 - USD $18.00 /Hr.
