Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a RFP Writer-EdTech to join a  global medical technology company in OHIO, OH. This is an 88-month contract with a potential for extension.

Pay:$37.00 - $42.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Part Time: (25 Hours/Week)

Description:
In this role, you will craft compelling, compliant, and accurate proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Invitations to Bid (ITBs). You’ll also own the process of answering technical compliance questionnaires about company solutions. You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts, project managers, and sales teams to translate complex solutions into persuasive narratives that highlight our organization’s value and capabilities. This position is essential to supporting business growth through strategic, high-quality submissions delivered on time and in alignment with client specifications.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the RFP and technical compliance questionnaire completion processes from start to finish: Search for relevant RFPs across multiple subscription platforms that are relevant to *** Hill’s higher education solutions, interpret all RFP requirements, specifications, and scoring criteria, and draft clear, professional, and competitive proposals tailored to each RFP.
  • Analyze & Plan: Review and interpret RFPs, RFIs, and ITBs to understand requirements, scope, and evaluation criteria.
  • Draft & Edit: Write clear, professional, and persuasive proposal narratives, including executive summaries, technical approaches, and management plans.
  • Collaborate: Partner with internal teams and subject matter experts to gather information and articulate complex offerings effectively.
  • Content Management: Maintain a centralized repository of proposal templates, boilerplate content, and past submissions for efficiency and consistency.
  • Compliance: Ensure all responses adhere to solicitation instructions, mandatory formats, and organizational branding guidelines.
  • Project Management: Coordinate timelines, manage multiple concurrent proposals, and ensure timely submission of all deliverables.
  • Quality Control: Proofread and edit proposals for accuracy, grammar, readability, and consistency.
  • Creative Engagement: Apply creative writing techniques to enhance proposal clarity, engagement, and persuasiveness.
  • Documentation: Prepare, format, and assemble all required forms, attachments, pricing sheets, and appendices.



Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2–5+ years of experience in proposal writing, technical writing, copywriting, or grant writing.
  • Proven ability to develop compliant, persuasive proposals within professional or corporate environments.


Technical & Writing Skills:
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat; experience with and proposal software such as Qvidian, Loopio, or RFPio welcomed.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling content.

  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience maintaining content libraries and document management systems.
  • Interpersonal & Professional Skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across diverse teams; product, technology, security, marketing, legal, and sales.
  • Professional demeanor with strong meeting etiquette and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in education, higher ed or ed tech industries.
  • Creative writing experience to enhance proposal engagement and readability.
