Rheumatology Physician Rural Community Hospital
We are seeking a dedicated Rheumatology Physician to join our team at Nevada Regional Medical Center, a rural, community-focused hospital serving a population of approximately 20,000. This position offers the opportunity to establish and grow rheumatology services while improving access to specialty care for patients who currently travel significant distances for treatment.
About the Practice
Outpatient-focused rheumatology practice
Opportunity to build and develop a new specialty service line
Diagnose and manage a wide range of rheumatologic conditions, including:
• Rheumatoid arthritis • Osteoarthritis • Lupus and autoimmune disorders • Psoriatic arthritis • Gout and metabolic joint disease • Connective tissue disorders
Strong referral base from established primary care providers
Flexible clinic scheduling

71-bed rural hospital
Established primary care and specialty referral network
Patients currently travel over 60 miles for rheumatology services

Qualifications
MD or DO, eligible for Missouri medical licensure
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
Eligible for hospital medical staff privileges
Interest in rural medicine and program development preferred
