As a Ride Ops Supervisor, you will be responsible for scheduling, training, and evaluating ride operators.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise ride locations and ensure all procedures and safety steps are followed
- Train, schedule, coach, and discipline team members with appropriate feedback and documentation
- Respond to and assist with emergency calls
- Regularly monitor ride attraction areas and maintain situational awareness of overall operation
- Give clear direction and assistance to guests and associates in regards to safety
- Accurately complete operational paperwork in a timely manner
- Notify maintenance of equipment issues necessary to ensure safe operation
- Follow and enforce all park and departmental policies and procedures
- Maintain reliability by working assigned shifts as scheduled
- Assist and support team members with all aspects of daily ride operations including, but not limited to, loading, unloading, control panel operation, crowd control, lost articles, and area cleanliness
- Ensure highest level of guest service at all times
- Ensure the safety of all guests and team members
- Proactively manage daily issues and maintain communication with the Ride Operations Manager
- Motivate and engage each team member
- Inspect attraction areas and ensure they meet safety standards
- Coordinate with the ride maintenance team to ensure attraction readiness
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to provide effective communication in a professional manner at all times
- Minimum of two year's supervisory experience within a service, hospitality, or retail industry
- Previous ride operator experience a plus
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays to meet operational needs
- Must be willing to work odd and irregular hours
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license
