Ride Technicians grow within our structured career ladder - Compensation ranges from $25.00 - $27.00 (plus), based on relevant external experience and/or internal progression.
What you get to do:
As a Ride Technician, you'll provide a high level of technical, electrical, and mechanical expertise in order to ensure our guests enjoy a thrilling, breathtaking - and safe experience. You will:
- Inspect, diagnose and repair all park rides, including watercraft, slides, nets, and moving walks
- Uphold all department safety standards, including test riding and inspections
- Complete all required documentation
- Communicate any ride related questions/concerns to leadership
- Maintain proficiency in all manufacturing manuals for each ride
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance duties, including care of tools
- Provide exceptional service to guests and team members
What it takes to succeed:
- High school diploma, trade school or equivalent required
- A minimum of three years verifiable industrial maintenance experience, automotive or military
- Advanced knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and conveyor systems
- Possesses a valid driver's license and can adhere to company driving guidelines
- Good written communication skills required to complete maintenance documentation
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and managers
- Proven team player
- Possess professional quality tool set
- Lift, carry, push and pull up to 50lbs. on a frequent basis.
- Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout work shift
- Able to work on high steel or wood structures
- Able to wear a full body harness
- Able to be respirator trained
- Work both indoors and outdoors, exposed to a variety of weather conditions
- Perform the following physical activities on a frequent basis; stand, walk, climb, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead and reach overhead, simple grasp and fine manipulation tasks
- Perform all cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
- Promote and ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and fellow ambassadors
- Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
