The Non-Provider Volunteer Engagement VISTA will strengthen the Rhode Island Free Clinic's capacity to recruit, onboard, engage, and retain non-clinical volunteers. The member will develop and improve volunteer management systems, create training and recognition resources, support volunteer recruitment initiatives, and strengthen partnerships with community organizations and educational institutions. Working closely with staff and volunteers, the VISTA will help enhance the volunteer experience and improve processes for tracking volunteer engagement and outcomes. Through these capacity-building activities, the member will help build a sustainable volunteer workforce that supports the Clinic's mission of providing free healthcare services to uninsured Rhode Islanders.
