Rifle Sub-Assembly Technician IPosition Summary:The Rifle Sub-Assembly Technician I is responsible for assembling and inspecting rifle sub-components with precision and consistency. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a solid understanding of firearms maintenance, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods while maintaining high-quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Assemble rifle sub-components according to company specifications and quality standards.Conduct thorough visual and functional inspections to ensure proper fit, finish, and function.Follow detailed work instructions, SOPs, and safety guidelines.Utilize hand tools, gauges, and measurement devices to verify assembly accuracy.Identify and troubleshoot minor assembly issues to prevent defects.Maintain an organized and clean workstation, adhering to 5S principles.Assist in inventory tracking and component organization for efficient workflow.Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding quality concerns or production inefficiencies.Qualifications & Requirements:Prior experience in firearms assembly, maintenance, or a related field preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with small parts and components.Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with sustained focus and accuracy.Basic understanding of firearm function, maintenance, and safety protocols.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to lift and move components as required (up to 50 lbs).Preferred Skills:Experience with torque wrenches, calipers, and other measurement tools.Firearms industry or manufacturing experience is a plus.Work Environment:Manufacturing environment with exposure to tools, machinery, and production noise.Requires standing, bending, and working with hands for extended periods.Other Duties Disclaimer:This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of duties, responsibilities, or activities required.
