We are seeking a hardworking and safety -conscious Rig Hand to join our oil and gas operations team in Lake City, Michigan. This entry -level position plays a vital role in supporting drilling and well service activities on location. The ideal candidate is physically fit, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast -paced outdoor environment with rotating shifts.<\/span>
<\/p>
Main Job Functions:<\/span>
<\/p>
- Assist the rig crew with core operations including tripping pipe, making connections, handling tubulars, and supporting drilling or workover procedures.<\/span>
<\/li> - Perform daily maintenance, cleaning, and housekeeping on the rig floor, equipment, and site to ensure a safe and efficient work area.<\/span>
<\/li> - Participate in rig -up, rig -down, and rig move activities, including moving materials and preparing equipment for operations.<\/span>
<\/li> - Use hand and power tools for tasks such as greasing machinery, basic repairs, pressure washing, and general upkeep of rig components.<\/span>
<\/li> - Follow all safety standards, attend safety meetings, identify hazards, and work collaboratively with the team to complete daily goals.<\/span>
