Rig Yard Structural Fabrication Fitter (Levels II–III)

A day in this role

You’ll start your shift in our drilling rig yard, review fabrication drawings and work orders, and plan your layout. From there, you’ll measure, square, and prep materials; cut with torches and drills; and tack up assemblies following company procedures. Throughout the day you’ll move steel safely with hoists or forklifts, keep parts traceable with heat and part numbers, share ETAs with your foreman, and hand off finished pieces to the next department—always wearing PPE and keeping the work area organized.

Compensation & Schedule

  • FITTER 2: $27.00/HR (STRUCTURAL)
  • FITTER 3: $31.00/HR (STRUCTURAL AND SOME PIPING)
  • Mon–Fri: 12-hour shifts, plus 8–12 hours on Saturdays
