Rigger/ Helper

Olive Recruiting is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Rigger / Helper to join our clients growing team in Houston, Texas. This position supports our heavy haul, specialized transportation, and rigging operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading, unloading, securing, and transporting oversized and specialized equipment.
• Support rigging crews during moving and lifting operations.
• Operate trailers, assemble and disassemble equipment (trailers, jack and slide, and gantry cranes), escort driving, flagging, and general yard support
• Help prepare job sites and equipment before and after projects.
• Assist with tarping, blocking, cribbing, chaining, and load securement.
• Perform general labor duties including lifting, carrying, assembling, and cleaning equipment.
• Maintain trucks, trailers, and company equipment in clean working condition.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Work closely with supervisors to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Travel to customer job sites as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction, heavy equipment, rigging, machinery moving, heavy haul, oil & gas, industrial maintenance, or a similar field preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and suspended loads.
• Strong work ethic with dependable attendance.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds frequently.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and frequent travel
