Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for Rigger/Overhead Crane in Norfolk, VA with one of our Clients in the Ship Repair Industry.
Responsibilities:
- Experience with operating overhead cranes
- Must have knowledge of chain fall/strap loading
- Must be able to rig large loads safely.
- Underwater Hull propulsion rigging (rudders, propellers, fin stabilizers, shafts, etc.)
- Knowledge of ship's structure, anchor chains and associated equipment, staging construction, cranes and their capacities/chart, ship's mooring
- underwater hull rigging of shafting, propellers, rudders
Hours:
- 1st Shift – Starts at 6AM – may work 8,10 or 12 hour shifts
- 2nd Shift – Starts at 3PM – may work 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts
Pay:
- Local - Up to $30/Hour depending on experience
- Non Local-up to $27/Hour with $120 Per diem
