Job Type: Long-Term Contract
We are seeking a Right of Way Specialist for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in Reading, PA. This position will support land acquisition, easement reviews, permitting, and right of way activities for infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing property documents, managing project data, and coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.
Review, analyze, and interpret right of way agreements, deeds, easements, leases, permits, and licenses.
Conduct property rights and restriction reviews to support project requirements.
Research real property records and assist with permitting activities.
Review easement agreements and identify potential property restrictions or conflicts.
Enter and maintain right of way information in stakeholder management databases.
Perform quality assurance reviews of database entries submitted by field agents.
Compile technical data, reports, and documentation for project teams.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, environmental consultants, GIS specialists, vegetation management teams, and real estate personnel.
Participate in public meetings and open houses as needed.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.
Provide ongoing support to clients and internal project teams.
High School Diploma/GED: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Associate Degree: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's Degree: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience reviewing land agreements, easements, property records, or right of way documentation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and project tracking software.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license required, with the ability to meet company driving standards.
Experience supporting electric utility, transmission and distribution, or railroad projects.
Familiarity with Google Earth and construction drawings.
International Right of Way Association (IRWA) designation or certification.
Previous experience with stakeholder management databases and right of way project coordination.
