    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    SUMMARY OF POSITION

    Supervises operation of RIP classrooms

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Classroom Preparation:

    a. Creates and maintains weekly classroom lesson plans and activity centers.

    b. Creates and maintains children's puzzle task boxes.

    c. Provides training for parents/adults for classroom coverage.

    2. Classroom Duties:

    a. Provides classroom supervision.

    b. Organizes and participates in regular large group meetings for parents.

    3. Program Activities:

    a. Participates in program development and evaluation activities.

    b. Participates as an active member of the program staff team.

    c. Trains and supervises volunteers.

    d. Assists in program tours.

    e. Participates in special RIP presentations as appropriate.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education Level              

    High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Graduates of the RIP program preferred.

    Years of Experience       

    Experience working with young children and their families is preferred.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Standing – 10%

    Sitting – 90%

    Squatting – Occasional

    Kneeling – Occasional

    Bending – Occasional

    Driving – Occasional

    Lifting – Occasional

    Pay Range:

    $15.00--$21.00
