Overview: We are seeking an experienced Rippling HRIS Functional Consultant to lead a short-term assessment for a client currently using Rippling as their HRIS platform. The client believes they are not fully leveraging the system and needs a consultant to evaluate current usage, identify process gaps, and provide practical recommendations for improvement. This role is functional and business-facing, focused on HRIS optimization, process analysis, stakeholder engagement, and best-practice guidance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a two-week assessment of the client's current Rippling HRIS setup and usage.
  • Meet with HR, business users, leadership, and other stakeholders to understand pain points and business needs.
  • Review current HR processes, workflows, reporting, user adoption, and system usage.
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities to better leverage Rippling.
  • Provide clear recommendations, quick wins, and a practical roadmap for improvement.
  • Present findings and guidance to client stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Rippling HRIS in a functional, admin, consulting, or optimization capacity.
  • Strong understanding of HRIS processes, including employee data, onboarding, workflows, approvals, reporting, and HR operations.
  • Experience leading business process reviews, requirements gathering, or HRIS assessments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a short-term consulting engagement.
  • Availability to be onsite in Houston, TX for at least part of the project.
  • Preferred: Prior Rippling implementation or post-go-live optimization experience.
  • Preferred: HR technology consulting or HR transformation background.
  • Preferred: Experience creating assessment summaries, process recommendations, or executive-level findings.
