IDR is seeking a Risk & Controls Project Manager to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves overseeing technology risk and control initiatives within an Agile environment, ensuring compliance and integration across diverse IT domains. The company operates within the financial services industry, focusing on risk management, cybersecurity, and governance to support its core operations.
Position Overview for the Risk & Controls Project Manager:
- Lead cross-functional technology risk and controls initiatives across Agile SDLC and IT hardware lifecycle.
- Manage project scope, timelines, RAID logs, dependencies, and executive reporting.
- Implement and integrate risk and control policies into Agile delivery, CI/CD, change management, and IT asset lifecycle processes.
- Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to drive control adoption and resolve issues.
- Support audits, control testing, documentation, remediation efforts, and continuous process improvement through KPIs and dashboards.
Requirements for the Rick & Controls Project Manager:
- Project/Program Management experience leading technology risk, governance, or controls initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Agile SDLC and technology control domains (change management, vulnerability management, asset management, access controls, etc.).
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects and influencing diverse stakeholders.
- Infrastructure, network, end-user, or data center environment experience preferred.
- Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, or similar frameworks.
