Location/s: Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Warrington, Derby, London, Glasgow, Edinburgh UKKey responsibilities and duties include:Undertake assurance reviews of risk deliverables and methodologies to confirm conformance to best practiceExperience informing the development of Business Cases, Investment Decisions and Appraisals, including assuring the quality of risk evidenceComfortable working as a consultant within a client environment, including embedding expertise into their teamsCoach, develop and supervise project staff and sharing knowledge and expertiseAbility to build strong relationships with clients, teams and stakeholdersDemonstrate competency with implementing Risk Management processes aligned with ISO31000/ Institute of Risk Management / Association of Project Management methodologies on complex Construction and Infrastructure projects including but not limited to:Initiating, developing, and implementing risk management processesFacilitating risk workshops as part of the overall delivery of the risk processConducting regular risk reviews to maintain a project risk register and ensure that the project risk profile is accurate and currentUndertaking Quantitative Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis techniquesProducing appropriate risk management reports to inform decision makingAwareness of industry risk management tools such as: ARM, Xactium, Primavera Risk Analysis, SafranRisk, @Risk, Risk Predict!An understanding of how risk management integrates with other Project Management and Project Controls disciplines including cost estimating, project planning and contract administrationImplement effective risk management activities to actively reduce risk exposure and uncertainty on projects & programmesSupport development and implementation of risk management approaches/systems for clients, incorporating best practice and proceduresFacilitate workshops and engage with project teams to ensure the effective implementation of risk managementWork closely with planners to understand delivery expectations, identify potential risks and link risks to schedule activitiesGood research and analytical skillsExcellent oral and written communication and organisation skillsEssential Soft skills include, effective listening, persuasion, collaborative style, leadership, flexibility, self-motivation, creativity and insightfulnessComputer literacy in Microsoft applicationsIf you meet 80% or more of what we're looking for, please still apply.
