SummaryPinnacle Group is seeking a Risk Specialist – Human Resources to support HR‑related risk management, controls, documentation, and compliance activities. This role will be responsible for developing clear policies, procedures, standards, and internal documentation that support consistent HR governance. The ideal candidate will have experience working within Human Resources in a risk, controls, compliance, or audit‑focused capacity and will be comfortable operating as an individual contributor with growth potential. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to expand their influence and contribute to a maturing HR risk function.Job DescriptionDevelop, maintain, and enhance HR‑related policies, procedures, standards, and governance documentation.Support internal audits related to Human Resources processes, controls, and compliance requirements.Evaluate HR control processes to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.Partner with HR stakeholders to ensure processes align with internal standards, regulatory expectations, and enterprise risk requirements.Document risk findings, process updates, control expectations, and remediation steps in a clear and professional manner.Assist in monitoring HR compliance activities and ensuring required controls are consistently maintained.Provide recommendations to improve HR risk management practices, documentation quality, and control effectiveness.Support the continued development of HR risk practices with the ability to grow into broader leadership responsibilities over time.RequirementsExperience working as a Risk Specialist, Controls Specialist, Compliance Specialist, or similar role within a Human Resources function.Strong writing skills with demonstrated experience creating policies, procedures, standards, process documentation, or governance materials.Experience performing internal audits or audit support activities related to HR requirements.Knowledge of HR‑related controls, compliance expectations, and risk management practices.Ability to identify process gaps, document findings, and communicate recommendations clearly.Approximately 3–5 years of relevant HR risk, audit, compliance, or controls experience.Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently.Interest and capability to grow into a future leadership role.Why Join Pinnacle Group?This role offers the opportunity to contribute to an important HR risk function while building visibility across compliance, controls, audit, and governance initiatives.
