The district is one of the oldest districts in the county, having been founded to serve area students in the late 1800s. Through the years, Banta has remained a small K-8 school district focused on meeting the needs of its diverse student population. Job Summary

Under the direction of the site administrator, the High School Computer Science Teacher provides instruction in computer science, programming, computational thinking, and related technology courses. The teacher develops and implements engaging, standards-aligned curriculum that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and college and career readiness. The position supports students in developing technical and academic skills aligned with computer science pathways and industry standards while maintaining a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
