Volunteer Description:
Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare in various roles.
Riverton Hospital Volunteers assist in the comfort needs of patients, families and guests and enhance the patient and guest experience through a variety of service activities.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
Requirements: A consecutive 70-hour (6-month) commitment, which entails volunteering one day per week for 3 or 4 hours; Passing a Background Check; Meet Immunization Compliance Requirements, Submit to a TB test, Attend the New Volunteer Introduction Meeting
Volunteer Areas may include the following departments and areas: Emergency Department (for qualified candidates 19 years old and older only), Gift Shop, Information Desk, Mammography Clinic (for Women Only)
You will be able to choose the volunteer position, day and time that works best with your schedule during the New Volunteer Introduction and Orientation Meeting. Volunteer shifts are Monday thru Friday.

If qualified, you will receive an email inviting you to the next Volunteer Introduction Meeting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Sensitive to patient and family situations / dynamics
Please Note: We are unable to accept applicants who are seeking Court-Ordered community service volunteer hours.
