State Fund is seeking a Regional Marketing Manager. In this role, you'll lead a team of Marketing Representatives to fulfill State Fund's mission of providing fairly priced workers' compensation insurance. Your responsibilities include building relationships with brokers and collaborating across departments to grow and manage State Fund's portfolio in the Greater Bay Area.

Reporting directly to the SVP of Regional Operations, your key duties will include:

Overseeing the Marketing function within the Regional Office to meet budget plan targets while following corporate and regulatory guidelines, making the best use of resources
Leading and developing staff to maintain high employee engagement
Collaborating with other regions, departments, and business segments to support operational needs and enterprise goals

Working Conditions

This position requires frequent business travel, which may range from overnight stays up to five days and involve planes, buses, vans, taxis, or cars. You may need to visit various locations for meetings and training, and work hours can vary depending on travel.

Telework - 3-4 times a month may need to travel to all California office locations.

The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Selected candidate(s) hired may be required to attend in-person Onboarding at our Vacaville office with expenses for attendance paid by State Fund.

Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee's monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of PLP 2025 on the first day of each pay period in accordance with the applicable bargaining contract.
