Organization Information The district continues to be proud of our long tradition of providing students with strong, effective academic programs and a wide variety of quality experiences in athletics, extracurricular clubs, and organizations. The home, community, and schools work together to enhance student progress and success. Through this joint effort, we continue the Russell Independent School District tradition of being ''''A Great Place to Learn!'''' Challenging content, high expectations, and total district support characterize the learning environment at all levels. Our district serves students with a full range of programs and staff to meet individual needs and interests. We offer Extended School Services, Preschool, technology services, gifted education, special education, remedial assistance, counseling, and the highest quality teachers and administrators.
