Requirements- Hire in as a fulltime RN in the Surgery department. Must successfully complete Surgery RN orientation to become eligible for this salaried contracted position. Once eligible and contract signed, you will be scheduled to work Monday-Friday from 0645-1715 for one week and off the next week. Work 50 hours per pay period; benefits included. No call. No weekends. Holidays that fall on your work week are expected.
Your orientation time period will vary dependent on your surgical experience.
During orientation, you will be scheduled Monday-Friday from 0645-1515. Those without surgical experience typically have a 16-week long orientation.

Job Summary: Administers, directs, and coordinates inter- and intra-departmental activities. Work is performed in accordance with Kentucky regulations for Registered Nurses, established hospital standards, nursing department/unit structure, process and outcome standards, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the philosophy, goals and objectives of the hospital, nursing and education services.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact state. BLS required. ACLS required. ACLS preferred within 3 months, not to exceed 6 months. Certification in area of expertise preferred. EXPERIENCE: 1 year RN in acute care setting or experience as circulating RN preferred
