Pay Rate

Local: $50.00 - $52.00/hour
Traveler: $50.00 - $52.00/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care to general surgery, ENT, and medical overflow patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing required
• Active Ohio RN or Compact RN license
• BLS through AHA
• Minimum 8 weeks of Medical/Surgical experience
• Strong Med/Surg clinical skills
• Ability to provide age-specific and culturally appropriate care
• Ability to float to other units as required

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process
• Care for general surgery, ENT, and medical overflow patients
• Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes
• Provide patient and family education
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff
• Follow safety, infection-control, and professional standards
• Float to other units as required
• Work every third weekend and required holidays
