Position: Registered Nurse - PRN
Clark Fork Valley Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Acute Care team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This position provides an opportunity to work in a variety of acute care areas, including Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, and SWB, with the expectation to be competent in all areas after orientation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Medication & Treatment Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, within scope of practice, and notify providers when needed.
- Documentation: Accurately and promptly document patient care in the electronic health record.
- Patient Education & Care Plans: Initiate and participate in the development of individualized care plans and patient education.
- Care Plan Management: Tailor and manage care plans according to individual patient needs.
- Competency: Maintain required competencies within your scope of practice.
- Standards Compliance: Follow all standards relevant to your area of work.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Montana State Board of Nursing.
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) within 90 days of hire.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 90 days of hire.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification upon completion of labor and delivery competency.
- STABLE certification preferred for Labor and Delivery.
