Job Description
A leading behavioral health hospital in northeast Indiana is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time permanent opportunity on an Adult Inpatient Psychiatry unit.
This inpatient behavioral health campus serves adult psychiatric patients requiring acute stabilization and treatment in a hospital-based setting. The organization is known for strong nursing support, career growth, and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to adult behavioral health patients
- Complete assessments and medication administration
- Support crisis intervention and de-escalation efforts
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and individualized care plans
- Promote patient safety and therapeutic communication
